Elena is a very conscientious, determined and disciplined professional. What I admire most about her is that she has been true to her values and her mission. The topics she lectures on, which are mirroring her PhD thesis, is something that she genuinely believes in and defends. She will never discount beliefs and values for short, medium or long-term gain. She will be a great asset to any organization who chooses to be transparent.

Elena Georgiou presented a brilliant lecture on online personalisation of services and privacy issues to my master’s students in the Department of Media and Communication at the LSE in 2021. She captured the students’ attention drawing on her research on user experiences and explained the issues around privacy protection very well.
