CANCELATION POLICY
Sessions and trainings are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our clients. When a session or training is cancelled or rescheduled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another current client, a client on the wait list, or a client with an emergency. To protect our time, and for both your interest and the respect of our other clients, this cancellation policy has been put in place for all consulting, training, and mentoring appointments:
Unless extraordinary circumstances apply (illness or emergency):
For (individual) sessions:
• A 50% cancellation fee (50% of your total session fee) will be applied when a session is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
• A 100% cancellation fee (100% of your total session fee) will be applied when a session is cancelled less than 3 hours prior to session time the same day.
• A No-Show fee (100% of your total session fee) will be applied when you fail to appear (physically or remotely) within 15 minutes of your appointment time without prior notice. Additionally, when you are late, the lost time may not be made up.
For (group) Tech Legal & Research Trainings:
• A 50% cancellation fee (50% of your total training fee) will be applied when a training is cancelled less than 2 (two) weeks in advance.
• A 100% cancellation fee (100% of your total training fee) will be applied when a training is cancelled less than 1 (one) week prior to training time the same day.
Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If (individual) session is cancelled or rescheduled with greater than 24 hours’ notice, no cancellation fee will be applied, and the event will be transferred to a different date or time. The appointment or session must be made within 30 days.
If (group) training is cancelled or rescheduled with greater than 2 (two) weeks’ notice, no cancellation fee will be applied, and the event will be transferred to a different date/week. The trainings must be made within 60 days.
Trial sessions or introductory meetings (of 20 minutes duration) are free of charge. There is no cancellation fee associated with them. However, potential clients that cancel their trial or introductory appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice and/or who miss their trial or introductory appointment more than twice will not be allowed to schedule another one. Instead, a standard paid service will have to be scheduled and will be subject to the above cancellation policy.
Please understand that your sessions and trainings should be viewed as any other important appointment you make for your work. Professional consultation or training is an investment in your career and business. The decision to cancel for any reason other than serious illness or emergency should be heavily weighed against the benefit you and/or your team or clients would miss out from keeping your appointment.
Thank you for your understanding of this matter.
